Alamo's finally poised to enter the first division with his excellent new band (featuring Dave Raeburn ex The Hoax). Alamo's from Brazil and plays electrifying slide guitar and blues, his unique playing shows all the art of Blues rhythm guitar, with intensity, passion and absorbing virtually every subtlety and nuance of the old masters like Jimmy Reed, Magic Sam and BB King.And who are we to doubt? Band also featured Ben Christie on bass. Both Christie and Raeburn later went on to Gwyn Ashton Band.
"Blueprint" magazine of July '97 mentions a new Alamo album called "Rythm Oil" (yes, it's spelled like that!).
