Little Sister:
From "Capital M", Sept. '85:
"The infectious twin guitar lead of Graham Foster and Gary Brewer is complemented by the tightest rhythm section in the business, Paul Aitkenson on drums and Malcolm Hoskins on bass. Little Sister excel in their music and vocal range on numbers like "Tell Me Why" and "Hard Pushed", while adding original interpretations to a couple of Al Greene numbers.
Their tour de force comes in the shape of a concluding 15 or so minutes of the set which kicks off with the blues before slipping into a beautiful composition called "Count Me Out" - a song which seems destined for vinyl release before long. It is perhaps suffice to note that they have backed the likes of Country Joe, Etta James and believe it or not, Alison Moyet before coming to the fore with their own material. A soon to be released tape features 23 self composed songs."
